Privacy Policy and Information for TnType.com, KiddoInk.com, and TnType.KiddoInk.com This statement discloses the privacy practices for the above web sites: As a visitor to my websites, you can surf them anonymously and access most of my sites' data without revealing your identity. However, if you are a potential user wanting to access a restricted area, you must identify yourself with a pre-agreed login and/or password information. As do almost or all websites, my sites set session cookies which may capture information from users visiting my Web Sites. The information is used to help me with aggregate statistical analysis and Site customization. The information captured is data that we can gather about you without asking - as an implicit agreement when you visit my sites. Aggregate statistical analysis means I review browsing trends based on information as a whole but without an effort to identify individual identites to the sites. All of my domain sites collect a visitor's domain name (that is, for instance, if the visitor is logged on from whatever.com); referral data (that is, the last URL a visitor was at before clicking to visit my sites is recorded);and browser and platform type (that is, the cookies show whether or not a visitor is using Firefox, Netscape, a Microsoft browser, or a Macintosh platform, etc.). The session cookies also count, track, and aggregate the visitor's activity to help me analyze general traffic flows at my websites (that is, the cookies track where traffic comes from [the referrer] and how traffic flows within the sites themselves.) If and when I ever present aggregated information from my websites to outside companies, no one will be able to identify you or contact you. IP addresses may be logged to track my vistors' session. An IP address is the unique numerical identity of your computer. When my website cookies "log" an IP address, it means that the sites associate a visit or series of visits to that unique numerical identity. My websites (at the top of this document) also use cookies to assist in aggregate statistical analysis and sometimes to provide site customization based on anonymous session tracking. In other words, my websites use cookies to determine trends developing from my site users as a whole but not as a way to learn about your individual identity. Cookies alone cannot be used to determine the actual identity of my website visitors/users. Cookies on their own can be used with other tools (such as whois) to identify a computer, but cookies cannot tell who is using that computer. If I customize my websites based on data collected from cookies, I will not know who you are unless you tell me. Throughout my sites, I may use cookies to provide my visitors with a way to contact me via e-mail for a variety of purposes including genealogy queries, general queries, resource or tool queries, etc. I may then file information from e-mails; review the information; discard it; or integrate it into my own research to share the data that way. I will never publish the e-mails themselves without asking explicit permission. Data entered into comment forms on my websites will be viewable to all after I have reviewed and approved them (that is to say, I scan comments for inappropriate data or links from spammers). Data said to be personal (or which I deem to be personal) that is disclosed to me in an e-mail sent because of my websites will not be shared with a third party without the express consent of the individual correspondent TnType and sites said to be its companion sites - including those mentioned in the top line at the top of this page - are stored on servers that employ industry-standard physical and computer security practices to protect information they collect and store in my directories. I *will* disclose information (both any provided to me which is personally identifiable as well as that from my sites' aggregate files) if legally required by subpoena, warrant, or any other legal procedure or process that I find, in my own sole discretion, to be valid and enforceable. Examples include, but are not limited to, for instance, a court officer needing to know if your computer visited one of my sites on a particular day and time; and/or if you told me in a personal e-mail that you have slaughtered someone. My contact data appears on my webpage at "write to tn type" - http://tntype.com/index.php/tn-type-about- page/write-to-tn-type/ Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have about this privacy statement. ~Dawnelle Giles Loiselle File date: 8 Mar 2007 File url: http://tntype.com/privacy.txt
