how to use, navigate, & search tn type:
first thing you should know:
you can make all the text on these pages larger by going to your browser’s V I E W menu and selecting T E X T S I Z E. right now, the text in the articles is very small, and i haven’t yet a style sheet compromise that satisifes me, so i hope that anyone who needs to will take avantage of the user work-around.
navigation:
each page has navigation elements that link to the home page, recent postings, major categories, and other tn type sites. if you can’t find a link to tn type’s home page anywhere else, there is always one in the footer of each web page (at the very, very bottom).
searching tn type:
a search form built into major pages should help you find specific articles that contain your keywords. as i post more pages online, more will be available via google & that should amplify your chances of finding what’s on the site. you can always put site:tntype.com “your search term in quotes like this” and do a site search via google. you can test it by using the google box in the sidebar, or, clicking here will present the pages google has indexed for tntype.com so far.
linking to tn type pages:
the following information is here for new internet users and/or those not accustomed to some of the currently popular ways of designing links in blogs that deliver content on the fly via the php protocol:
- the title of an article is a link - a permanent link (sometimes called a permalink) - to that particular article. you can locate permanent links by running your mouse across titles; when the cursor changes to a hand and/or the title changes colors, you’ve found it.
- pages listed as main pages in my sidebar can be linked to at the address in your browser’s address bar.
- main pages also include links to the rss feeds for the site, in case you use an rss reader or service (like bloglines, a free online news reader | here | . note: the acronym rss is commonly said to mean really simple syndication.
